This custom designed pattern attempts in some small way to echo the unusual beauty of these Painted Dogs. Flattering for all domestic dog colors, we rendered it in the thickest stretchiest fleece we've used to date. Then to make our Cozy Coat extra special, we bound the edges in chic black binding for added durability. Now your dog can reclaim his or her wild side and be a force for nature ... $1 of each coat sold goes directly to conservation efforts via the World Wildlife Fund East African Wild Dog Project. Machine Washable and Dryable. Made in the U.S.A. Sizing: Essentially, the size of the coat refers to the length of your dogs back. Measure from the base of the neck to the beginning of the tail. It's important that your dog is standing up, they get longer when they lay down. If your dog is between sizes move up or down based on whether they are broad chested or narrow... Big shouldered Boxers (for example) usually move up a size while slender dogs often op for a smaller size. We've included some weigh suggestions below, but we highly recommend measuring your dog as well. .
